-I wanna get dressed up and go out to dinner for my b-day but i don't think i know of anyplace that you have to wear supernice clothes to go out to eat, so all my nice dresses and stuff just rot in my closet.
Can anyone from the area help me out? Im thinking Norman or OKC, maybe EdmondOklahoma has some fancy, nice places to go, but you just have to know about them from local folks. Here are some suggestions to celebrate your birthday in style (listed in order from best to worst):
1. This is my top pick for what it sounds like you want -Nonna's in Bricktown (OKC) + The Purple Bar is also connected to this, for an after/before dinner drink in a very swanky atmosphere.
-One location in OKC is Cheevers, and it's delicious.
-BLU in Norman. Tasty treats, and swanky atmosphere.
-Sushi Neko in Edmond
-Redrock Canyon Grill, with great food, a view of Lake Hefner, and cool bar/firepit area for waiting. You could pull off dressy here, but it would be less dressy than the other places.
-Whispering Pines Inn Restaurant in Norman
However, I'm not sure what you mean by "super nice;" if you're referring to an elaborate suit or ballgown, you may not find a place. But you could definitely wear a cute, "going out" dress, or cocktail dress to many of these places.
