Do you think its safe for 4 girls to go to San Fransisco by themselves?

-Do you think that it would be safe for 4 girls (2 of them are 18 one is 17 and the other is 16) to go to SF by themselves? Just to dinner and walking around?Certainly! But it really depends on the girls. If they're immature, have no common sense, and are likely to get into trouble, then no. It's they're smart responsible girls who know how to be safe, then sure.When I was that age, ( a teenage young woman) my friends and I went to SF all the time. However, that

was in the 1970s. However, we went to Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, downtown, Chinatown, and out to the Avenues. That was years before cell phones and pagers. If we were going to be delayed, we called home and let them know!
As long as you stay out of the high crime areas and avoid dark places you should be fine. Don't know where in SF you plan on going to, but as long as there are lots of people around, you'll be safe.
