-Try Heaven on Seven. 111 N. Wabash seventh floor of the Garland Building. Great cajun food. The gumbo is to die for and you have to have it with a cheddar jalapeno muffin.
For Italian try The Italian Village.ED DEBEVICS! It's a fabulous fifties-themed restaurant with delicious food! It really has a great atmosphere! The people that work there all have "attitudes" but its part of their atmosphere and motto "Eat and Get Out!"
If you have a great sense of humor this is a great place to hit up! Their mouthwatering milkshakes are THE BEST in Chicago! Ed Debevics is a Chicago legend. Try it =]
Check out this website, since I can't tell your price range or food preference this can help.
There are two categories, if you are in for a quick trip and wants to try the famous stuffed pizza, or one of our chop houses' steaks click on 'Pizza and Steak'
All other food try 'Out to Eat'

My husband took a trip to Chicago a couple years ago and he said the best place he found was a place that made greek gyros. I think it was called downtown Gyros, he said they actually cut the meat in front of you and cooked it and it was the best he ever had. hope this helped
