Why dont we have diners anymore?

-i want to knwo why people dont make diners anymore........they are so cool :) but instead of stupid mcdonalds and burgar king, cant we have diners again?????? i miss them i also want to know what they are like :(That actual old diners were from transformed railcars. They were pre-built and easily moved from location to location and cheap as they were surplus after the war. They are the equivelent of today's mobile home.



Other than that - they were too small to handle much business, which is why they died out. The diner was eventually replaced by dinner hourses - like Applebees, TGIFridays, etc. Not fast food.
come to NJ. We have diners everywhere! Some towns even have the real old school diners from the 50's w- the juke boxes on the tables. Most of them have been re-done by now, but still the same concept. they are literally everywhere in NJ
We still do have great diners all over the country. Watch the food channel and Guy Fiero has a show "Diners Dumps and Dives". Go to his website and locate one near you. Happy dining.
i used to have home cooked meals but now i juist eat jack in the crack chipotle r and subway
