Where to take a 4yr old for dinner on his birthday in San Diego?

-My son is 4years old tomorrow. He had a wonderful birthday party yesterday with all his friends but now it is just family and we want to do something fun for the 6 of us tomorrow. We live in San Diego.

We had a pizza party in the park yesterday so chuckie cheese is out. There is no Rain Forest Cafe down here. I have called the Corvette Diner and they said the wait time today was 1 and half hours so tomorrow should be worse and they don't take bookings. Any good ideas of where we could take a 4 year old for his birthday dinner?wow that's too bad about corvette diner, we took our grandson there last year for his 4th b'day.



How about Ruby's in the Mission Valley Mall? Our grandson loves to go there! The child's menu usually turns into a car or rocket ship or some other fun toy.



He also had fun taking the ferry across to Cornado, there's places to eat that's not formal and/or you can rent one of the bikes that have the canopies on top!
